Corporate culture | Engagement | People at thyssenkrupp | thyssenkrupp worldwide | Work safety | The rapid development of the Corona pandemic is leading to supply bottlenecks in many places. Appropriate protective clothing for medical personnel, volunteers or risk groups is in short supply worldwide. To help these everyday heroes, aid initiatives are being set up around the world - as well as at thyssenkrupp.

Engineering | People at thyssenkrupp | thyssenkrupp worldwide | They research electromobility, construct huge industrial plants, develop software that enables production plants to communicate with each other, and even work in the most remote places in the world: engineers ensure progress - and hardly any job is as multifaceted as theirs. During the official "Engineers Week" we focus on their pioneering spirit and show the many different fields in which our engineers work. Maria Kharitonova is an HVAC engineer (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) at thyssenkrupp. She tells us why she chose engineering as a profession and why she still pursues it with great passion today.

People at thyssenkrupp | thyssenkrupp worldwide | For the future of thyssenkrupp our colleagues around the world are working to make our company more flexible, efficient and enhance the performance of our processes. This means, among other things, developing the soft skills - such as intercultural competence - necessary to work successfully on an international scale. One example of this is the global teamwork through which the E-commerce website "Online Metals" was optimized. A task that we could only succeed in together - and across continents.

thyssenkrupp worldwide | How would you configure an elevator? Would it have mirrors? Would the walls be brushed stainless steel? What would the buttons on the control panels look like? Noble and understated - embedded in the panel surface or are there no buttons at all in your custom-made elevator and instead touchscreens only? Most of the time, such decisions are much easier if we can see and try out the different options live.
